Does it remove sunscreen and waterproof eye makeup?
Yes. The balm dissolves sunscreen, long-wear foundation, lipstick and waterproof mascara. Massage gently onto dry skin, keeping your eyes closed when removing eye makeup and avoiding direct contact with your eyes. Add a little water until the balm turns milky, then rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. The same cleansing step works on days when you wear sunscreen without makeup.
Should I use it on dry skin, and how do I rinse it off?
Start with dry hands and a dry face. Massage the balm over makeup and sunscreen for about 30 seconds so it melts into oil and dissolves them. Then wet your fingertips and massage in a little water until the oil turns milky. Finish by rinsing thoroughly with plenty of water. Emulsifying before the final rinse removes the balm without a heavy oily film.
Is one pod one use, and how much should I take out?
Start with about half a 3 mL pod for everyday makeup or one full pod for heavier coverage. Adjust the amount to your makeup and face size. Each box contains ten individually sealed pods, totaling 30 mL; the number of cleanses depends on the amount you use. Ten pods are not a fixed ten-use pack.
Do I need to use a second cleanser?
A second cleanser is optional. The balm removes makeup and cleanses as it emulsifies and rinses away. Follow with a water-based cleanser if you prefer a double-cleansing routine.

Yes. The balm is suitable for sensitive and dry skin. Oat kernel oil, squalane and hazelnut seed oil help leave skin feeling soft and comfortable after cleansing. Massage gently onto dry skin, add water to emulsify, then rinse thoroughly.
How are the travel pods different from the 50 mL mini?
Choose the pods when you want to pack individually sealed portions for trips, a gym bag or an overnight stay. The mini is one 50 mL jar that you open and take from each time; this pack contains ten separate 3 mL pods. The travel pack does not include a full-size jar, refill insert or magnetic spatula.
How should I store and open the pods?
Keep unopened pods sealed and dry, away from excessive heat. Open with dry hands and keep water out of the balm. Apply the balm to a dry face first, then add water on your face to emulsify it before rinsing.
